Profile:
Elaine qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 2006 with a BSc in General Nursing. She gained a Masters in Occupational Health, Safety and Ergonomics in 2009 at the National University of Ireland, Galway. In 2017 She completed the Certificate in Case Management through Glasgow Caledonian University.
After initially qualifying from Occupational Health and Safety in 2009, Elaine honed her skills while working as a Health and Safety Manager and Trainer for a Healthcare Company, until 2013. Since then, Elaine has worked within 3 large Multinational Organisations and 1 Hospital setting as an Occupational Health Nurse. Her role was Nurse Case Manager working in a team environment with other Occupational Health Nurses, HR and Environmental Health and Safety teams. Elaine went on to work in a Clinical Occupational Health setting in a managerial and coordination role in 2016.
Elaine is a member of the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Organisation (INMO) and is a member and current Secretary of the Occupational Health Nurse Association of Ireland (OHNAI).
